Aubreyism #2

Me to Aubrey: "I want a kiss from a cute little girl named Aubrey. Do you know where I can get one?"

Her response: "Ummm, from Target."

I laughed so hard I cried. That kid is hilarious.

Kasilof 2011

Since I am not working the girls and I took advantage of the beautiful weather the weekend before last and headed to Kasilof with my family for the annual dipnetting trip. We had a great time! As stated, the weather was beautiful at least for the first few days. Unfortunately, the fishing did not treat us as well. After several attempts I finally gave up after not catching a single fish! We got in a lot of quality time with the family though and were able to get out on the 4-wheelers and have some fun. My parents, Trevor, Erin, Dane, and Danica all made it down. Even Kyle surprised us and came down for a night! The dogs, Mischief, Moose, and Quila all tagged along too. Sadly I think it was the final trip for Missy. While we were there she wandered off from the campsite and hasn't been seen since. I have a feeling she knew it was her time as neither of the other dogs disappeared with her. We have had her since my senior year in high school so she was fairly old. We will definitely miss that sweet girl. R.I.P. Mischief!

Fourth of July 2011

For Fourth of July we headed to Hope to spend the day with our good friend Dean Davidson. Aubrey had a blast riding the 4-wheeler, watching movies, playing in puddles, and hanging out around the fire. She always enjoys spending time with her Uncle Dean!

Lake Louise 2011

After our return from Florida we went camping at Lake Louise with the entire Virgin family. We were able to take to boat, kayaks, and raft out. Aubrey seemed to have a resistance to the cold water as she tramped around without her pants or shoes in the lake. While out on the boat Kyle, Aubrey, Annora, and I spotted a cow moose and her young calf come running through the water straight towards us. After she spotted us she turned and started swimming to the other shore. We had a great time and luckily the weather held out for the most part!
